Deadly Rabbits Concepts, the team behind Ask for Alonzo, A Poele, and Que Pasa—is expanding to Poland later this year. To mark the occasion, the group is hosting a one-night-only pop-up dinner at Que Pasa on June 18, featuring modern Polish cuisine by Executive Chef Mariusz Ledwoch from their upcoming Warsaw branch.

The Slavic Social dinner will showcase dishes inspired by Poland’s culinary traditions, using seasonal ingredients and game meats. Highlights include beef tartare with mushroom aioli and duck egg yolk, jellied trout, pickled mackerel, roasted duck breast, wild boar dumplings, and a trio of local fish. Guests will also enjoy desserts like apple pie with meringue and a marmalade doughnut—plus a celebratory shot of Polish vodka.

The evening includes live entertainment and traditional Polish wax fortune-telling. Tickets are priced at HKD 348 per person and can be booked online.

Later this year, Deadly Rabbits will open Ask for Alonzo in Warsaw’s Varso Tower—the tallest building in Poland and the EU—as well as The Slavic Social, a new modern Polish dining concept at Hilton Warsaw.

For founder Bart Szyniec, a Polish native, the expansion is personal. “Poland is where my story began, and Asia is where I found my calling,” he says. “Bringing the two together through food and hospitality has always been my dream.”
